Trình tự Recovery cho các loại laptop:

Ngày nay Laptop đã trở thành “người bạn” không thể thiếu đối với nhiều người trong chúng ta. Từ học sinh, sinh viên đến nhân viên, công chức, doanh nhân… đều sử dụng laptop. Sự vận hành ổn định và bền bỉ của chiếc laptop có ảnh hưởng không nhỏ đến hiệu quả trong học tập lẫn trong công việc của mỗi người. Trong đó Hệ điều Hành (HĐH) là một trong những nhân tố quan trọng hàng đầu.

- Đặc biệt đối với laptop đã tích hợp sẵn HĐH bản quyền từ nhà sản xuất. Trong quá trình sử dụng do những nguyên nhân khách quan hoặc chủ quan (hư ổ cứng, định dạng nhầm phân vùng, virus ….) có thể dẫn đến bị lỗi HĐH có bản quyền này.

- Khi đó khách hàng có thể nghĩ đến việc khôi phục lại nguyên trạng của HĐH như trước đây.

Những ưu điểm của việc recovery lại HĐH:

+ Quá trình Recovery sẽ đưa HĐH về trạng thái mới như lúc mới xuất xưởng.

+ Là phiên bản Windows chính gốc của hãng, chưa qua bất kỳ bàn tay chỉnh sửa nào của người dùng do đó bảo đảm được tính nguyên vẹn và độ ổn định cao nhất. Điều này đã được hầu hết người sử dụng thừa nhận.

+ Là bản Windows đã tích hợp những phần mềm tiện ích và trình điều khiển (driver) của nhà sản xuất kèm theo. Bạn không phải mất công tìm kiếm và cài đặt lại từng cái, chưa kể những lỗi hệ thống có thể phát sinh trong quá trình cài đặt. Đây là việc khá khó khăn đối với những ai không rành về IT.

+ Bản quyền Windows của máy cũng được khôi phục và kích hoạt một cách tự động mà bạn không cần phải nhập lại mã. Từ lúc này bạn có thể cập nhật trực tiếp những tiện ích hỗ trợ mới nhất từ nhà sản xuất cho HĐH của mình rồi đó.

2. At the white ACER BIOS screen, hold the “Alt” key and press the “F10″ key simultaneously to start Acer eRecovery

Method One: Using the Recovery Partition (on selected models)

1. Press < F9 > during bootup.
2. Press [Enter] to select Windows Setup [EMS Enabled].
3. Select the language you want to recover and click Next.
4. Read the ASUS Preload Wizard messages and click Next.
5. Select a partition option and click Next. Partition options:

Recover Windows to first partition only: This option deletes only the first partition and allows you to keep other partitions, and to create a new system partition as drive "C".
Recover Windows to entire HD: This option deletes all partitions from your hard disk drive and creates a new system partition as drive "C".
Recover Windows to entire HD with two partitions: This option deletes all partitions from your hard drive and creates two new partitions "C" (25%) and "D" (75%).

6. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the recovery process.

Method Two: Using Recovery DVD (on selected models)

Creating the Recovery DVD:

1. Double-click the AI Recovery Burner icon on the Window desktop.
2. Insert a blank writable DVD into the optical drive and click Start to start creating the Recovery DVD.

IMPORTANT!

DO NOT delete the partition named RECOVERY. The Recovery Partition is created at the factory and cannot be restored if deleted. Take your Notebook PC to an authorized ASUS service center if you have problems with the recovery process.

Restoring your MacBook's factory default settings can be necessary in a number of situations. For example, if your MacBook ever becomes infected with malware or a poorly written application corrupts OS X settings, the operating system may become unstable or not boot at all. Another time you might want to restore default settings is when you plan to sell or give your MacBook to someone else. Restoring the MacBook's original settings and factory software erases any private or sensitive information you may have on the notebook and creates a clean slate for the new user so he can customize the laptop to suit his own needs.

Step 1

Connect a USB hard drive to the MacBook and back up any important documents or personal data files before restoring the MacBook's factory default settings.

Step 2

Connect an RJ-45 Ethernet cable to the MacBook or ensure that you have the wireless network login credentials need to access a nearby Wi-Fi router.

Step 3

Shut down the MacBook laptop. Connect the AC power adapter to the MacBook and restart the laptop. As soon as the MacBook starts to reboot, press and hold the "Command-R" keys. Continue to hold the keys until the "Apple" icon appears on the display screen indicating that the MacBook is booting. After a few seconds, an Apple Desktop with an OS X menu bar and a "Mac OS X Utilities" window appears on the screen.

Step 4

Click the Wi-Fi menu item in the Mac OS X Utilities window to configure wireless network access if connecting to a Wi-Fi router. Select the SSID or network name for the router from the list and enter a username and password for the network if required. If you are using a wired Ethernet connection to access the router, you do not need to configure wireless settings.

Step 5

Click the "OS X Recovery" or "Internet Recovery" icon in the Mac OS X Utilities window -- the icon you see depends on the model of MacBook you own and the version of OS X installed on it -- then click "Reinstall OS X." Wait a few seconds for the laptop to connect to the Apple servers on the Internet. If you purchased your MacBook at an Apple store, the system prompts you for the Apple username and password for the account created when you bought the laptop. After connecting to the Apple servers, the MacBook downloads the latest version of OS X compatible with the laptop along with any other programs that shipped with the notebook. After downloading the required version of OS X and supporting applications, the OS X Recovery or Internet Recovery partitions and formats the hard drive and reinstalls the components automatically.

Step 6

Click the "Restart" button when it appears in the Mac OS X Utilities window, then wait for the MacBook to reboot. Log in to OS X with your Apple username and password when prompted. After you log in to the MacBook, you find the desktop and other settings for the laptop returned to factory defaults.

Step 7

Reconnect the USB hard drive to the MacBook and copy any saved documents or data files back to the laptop.

Tips

The image file for OS X is over 4GB in size. Consequently, it may take many hours to download and install the recovery operating system, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.

Warnings

You must enable DHCP on your wired or wireless router before you can restore your MacBook with the OS X Recovery or Internet Recovery utility. DHCP enables the router to assign dynamic IP addresses to computers connected to it. If computers on your network use static IP addresses, configure and enable the DHCP server on the router before attempting to restore your MacBook.
You cannot connect directly to a DSL or cable modem when performing the system restore. To restore OS X on your MacBook, you must connect to the Internet through a router that supports DHCP and enables the connection protocol on the modem before assigning an IP address to the laptop.
Never attempt to restore OS X on your MacBook without first connecting the AC power adapter. It may take several hours to download and reinstall OS X on your MacBook. If the battery fails during the restore process, it could damage the hard drive.

Important:

If you have data that you need to save, create a Data Backup before performing a Complete Restore. With Data Backup you can save your files to an external device and then use Data Restore to load those files back onto the PC.
If the computer powers on, but Windows does not load, press the F4 Key at the Samsung logo when you first power on the computer; and then go to step 2.
If the Samsung Recovery partition has been removed from your PC, your notebook will need to be sent to the service center for reimaging.

To perform a Complete Restore, follow these steps:

Open Samsung Recovery Solution 5.
Once Samsung Recovery Solution 5 loads, click Restore. The Restore dialog appears.
Click Complete Restore. The Restore > Complete Restore dialog appears.
On the Restore > Complete Restore dialog, there is list of backups created using Complete Backup and the expected time needed to perform a restore with each backup. If no backups have been created then the Computer Initial Status backup is the only item listed. Click the backup you would like to use for this restore, and then click Next.

Important: Make sure you have power connected to the PC. If power is lost during a restore, you need to start the process again from the beginning.
Samsung Recovery Solution 5 prompts you to restart the computer to continue. Click OK to restart the computer.

Warning: If you have data on drive C that you do not want to lose, stop now and perform a Data Backup.
The computer restarts and Samsung Recovery Solution 5 prompts you to click Yes to Delete all data on drive C. Click yes to proceed.
A progress bar appears showing the current transfer speed, the amount of data copied, elapsed time and estimated total time to completion.
After the Complete Restore is complete, Samsung Recovery Solution 5 prompts you to restart your computer. Click OK to restart.
After you restart your computer, the restore process is complete.

Note: You will need to perform an additional restart for Windows to apply its changes.

Warning: Do not rename the backup folder created by Samsung Recovery Solution or change the directory structure in the backup. If the name or structure has changed SRS will not see your recovery point when you attempt to perform a restore.

This restores the PC to the condition it was in when the Complete Backup was made. If a Complete Backup was never made, this can still be used to restore the PC to its initial status. (Out of the Box condition)

Warning: A Complete restore erases all current files, settings, programs and other data and replaces them with the files, settings, programs and other data contained in the Complete Backup. In other words, it restores your computer to the way it was when you made the Complete Backup. Also, note that any programs installed after the Complete Backup will still need to be reinstalled.

Information

Many Toshiba laptops come with the factory software recovery image stored in a special (hidden) area on the hard disk. From this special hidden system recovery image, you can restore your computer to its factory-fresh software condition by following these steps:

Make sure the computer is turned off ("Shut-down" from the Windows Start menu)
Remove any peripherals such an external mouse, keyboard, monitor, USB flash drive etc.
Make sure the AC Adapter is plugged in and working.
Press and hold down the 0 (zero) key on the keyboard while powering on the computer. Release it when the recovery warning screen appears.
If the recovery process offers a choice of Operating Systems, select the appropriate one for you.
A warning screen appears, stating that when the recovery is executed all data will be deleted and rewritten.
Click Yes to continue.
When the Toshiba Recovery Wizard opens select "Recovery of Factory Software" or the appropriate option for your needs.
Continue to follow the directions restarting as necessary.

For laptops equipped with Windows 8, "Reset" returns your computer to its out-of-box, factory default conditions (removes your personal files and apps as well reset all settings to defaults) similar to a “System Recovery.” Refer to the How To: Understanding System Restore, Refresh, Reset, and, Recovery options in Windows 8 + Video knowledge base article for complete information.

Please note that the process may vary slightly from machine to machine, that you may be asked to insert disks (multi-disk packages) and that the process may take one to two hours to complete. The recovery process will restart your computer several times.

As you use the recovery process you will have several options. One of these may be to create a custom size partition. Follow the directions on screen for this and other options as prompted. When in doubt, it's usually best to accept the default, or pre-selected option.

Use of any software made available for download from this system constitutes your acceptance of the Export Control Terms and the terms in the Toshiba end-user license agreement both of which you can view before downloading any such software.

1. Các bước chuẩn bị và cài đặt hệ điều hành :

Các bước yêu cầu để cài đặt hệ điều hành trên Intel NUC :

• Sử dụng ổ đĩa CD/DVD kết nối theo chuẩn USB (nếu cài bằng đĩa) hoặc một USB có chức năng boot chứa file image của hệ điều hành cần cài đặt (Window 10/8.1/8/7)
• Chuột và bàn phím kết nối theo chuẩn USB.
• Kết nối sẵn Internet.

- Installing Window :

Kết nối USB hoặc ổ đĩa quang chuẩn USB có chứa file cài đặt (hoặc đĩa cài đặt) hệ điều hành.
Tiến hành bật nút nguồn NUC (yêu cầu kết nối adapter)
Sau quá trình boot, bấm F10 để lựa chọn boot menu để vào giao diện cài đặt hệ điều hành.
Theo dõi quá trình cài đặt hệ điều hành (nhằm kiểm tra và khắc phục các lỗi phát sinh cũng như điền các thông tin cài đặt).
Sau khi cài đặt các thành phần quan trọng của Window thì rút thiết bị USB.
Kết nối tới Internet.
Cài đặt các yêu cầu của chức năng Windows Updates (tùy chọn).
Download và install cài đặt driver mới nhất cho Intel NUC tại Download Center: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx
Hoàn thành quá trình cài đặt.

- Installing Linux : Làm tương tự như các bước Instaling Window.

2. BIOS Information for Intel NUC Kit DN2820FYKH

Một số lỗi sẽ phát sinh trong quá trình cài đặt hệ điều hành hoặc boot USB. Điều này có thể được lý giải do BIOS hoặc do tùy chọn trong BIOS chưa đúng cách.

Hiện tại, ở một số phiên bản NUC khi xuất xưởng sử dụng BIOS Verison 0015 (ví dụ NUC DN2820FYKH). Bạn nên tiến hành update BIOS lên phiên bản mới nhất bây giờ là 0032 (hoặc mới hơn) để hệ thống có thể hoạt động ổn định hơn, tránh phát sinh lỗi trong quá trình sử dụng, cũng như quá trình cài đặt hệ điều hành.

Việc update BIOS khá đơn giản, bằng cách chuẩn bị file BIOS mới nhất download tại link Download Center ở trên và cho vào USB, sau đó bấm phím F7 và làm theo hướng dẫn ở màn hình khởi động để tiến hành update BIOS mới nhất cho NUC.

Sau khi update BIOS cho NUC xong, hãy tiến hành cài đặt và làm theo các bước tinh chỉnh dưới đây để hệ thống đạt được hiệu năng tốt nhất, tránh các phát sinh lỗi xảy ra trong quá trình cài đặt và sử dụng hệ điều hành.

3. Cài đặt hệ điều hành cho Intel NUC Kit DN2820FYKH

Một vài điểm đáng chú ý về việc cài đặt hệ điều hành cho Intel NUC DN2820 :

- Intel NUC Kit DN2820FYKH chỉ hỗ trợ Windows 7 64bit (không hỗ trợ 32bit)
- Intel NUC Kit DN2820FYKH mặc định hỗ trợ cài đặt các hệ điều hành UEFI (Windows 8 và 8.1). Nếu không tinh chỉnh trong BIOS sẽ không cài đặt được hệ điều hành Win 7 ở mặc định.
- Nên cài đặt bằng tay cho NUC rồi tạo một bản Ghost để cài cho các máy khác, không khuyến cáo dùng các bản Ghost đa cấu hình có mặt trên mạng ở hiện tại do đa phần các bản Ghost đa cấu hình chưa đáp ứng tốt việc hoạt động ổn định trên NUC.
Dù bản Ghost có tốt hay không thì vẫn khuyến cáo nên cài bằng tay, tránh phát sinh các lỗi không đáng có về soft hoặc driver.
- Không dùng đầu chuyển từ HDMI sang VGA (Analog) vì NUC sẽ không hiển thị hình ảnh hoặc hình ảnh hiển thị chập chờn nếu sử dụng đầu chuyển này. Nếu được hãy sử dụng dây caple HDMI to HDMI là tốt nhất hoặc HDMI to DVI (nếu màn hình chỉ có cổng DVI).
- Các bước tinh chỉnh trong BIOS ứng với từng loại hệ điều hành được cài đăt (một số phiên bản BIOS có thể không có mục OS Selection, chỉ cần làm tới bước b của mục 3 là được).

Bấm phím F9 để set các giá trị và tùy chọn của BIOS về mặc định Lựa chọn tab Advanced và thực hiện theo đường dẫn : Trong mục Devices and Peripherals > SATA menu, Chipset SATA Mode > Set thành AHCI. Trong mục Boot > Boot Priority menu > Legacy Boot Priority > Lựa chọn Legacy Boot là enabled (checked). Trong mục Boot > Boot Configuration menu > UEFI Boot > OS Selection > Set thành Windows 7. Bấm F10 để lưu và thoát khỏi BIOS. Sau khi làm các bước trên, tiến hành cài đặt hệ điều hành.
OpenElec*	Với những người sử dụng OpenElec. Bấm phím F2 khi quá trình khởi động bắt đầu ở màn hình boot để tiến hành BIOS Setup. Bấm phím F9 để set các giá trị và tùy chọn của BIOS về mặc định. Lựa chọn tab Advanced và thực hiện theo đường dẫn : Trong mục Devices and Peripherals > SATA menu > Chipset SATA Mode > Set thành AHCI. Trong mục Devices and Peripherals > USB menu, USB Legacy > Lựa chọn là Enabled (checked). Trong mục Devices and Peripherals > Video menu, IGD Minimum Memory set thành 512 MB. Trong mục Boot > Boot Priority : UEFI Boot lựa chọn là Disabled (unchecked). Legacy Boot lựa chọn là Enabled (checked). Trong mục Boot > Boot Configuration > USB under Boot Devices lựa chọn là enabled (checked). Bấm F10 để lưu và thoát khỏi BIOS. Sau khi làm các bước trên, tiến hành cài đặt hệ điều hành.

Cách khởi động Surface bằng ổ USB

Có những lúc bạn cần khởi động Surface của mình từ một ổ đĩa USB, lý do là vì Surface của bạn không khởi động vì gặp một số sự cố gì đó và bạn muốn sử dụng các công cụ nâng cao để khôi phục hay khắc phục sự cố.

Cách duy nhất với bạn là gắn ổ đĩa vào cổng USB khởi động lại máy và dĩ nhiên chẳng có gì xảy ra cả. Surface của bạn không khởi động vào ổ USB và nó không cho bạn biết lý do tại sao.

Bước thực hiện

Nếu Surface của bạn vẫn khởi động thành công, nhưng bạn vẫn muốn khởi động từ ổ USB, bạn có thể vào PC Setting và thay đổi tùy chọn khởi động nâng cao, chắc chắn nó sẽ dễ dàng sử dụng hơn.

Using the Recovery Partition

Reboot or turn on your Fujitsu Lifebook and press "F12" when the Fujitsu logo appears.
Highlight "Recovery and Utility" using your arrow keys and press "Enter". If this options does not appear, you have to recover directly from the recovery disc.
Select a new keyboard layout on the first screen that appears, if your preferred keyboard is not already selected. Click "Next". Select "Use recovery tools...", and "Next" on the "Operating System" dialog screen. Enter your password, if your system is configured with one.
Click "Recovery and Utility" on the "System Recovery Options" screen.
Click the "Recovery" tab and click "Restoring the Factory Image (only C:\drive)". Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your Fujitsu Lifebook. Some models may require a supplied recovery disc be inserted at this point.

Using Recovery Disc

Reboot or turn on your Fujitsu Lifebook. Press the "Enter" key when the Fujitsu logo appears. This launches the "SecureCore Menu".
Select the "Boot Menu" using your arrow keys and press "Enter". Highlight "CD/DVD".
Insert the recovery disc in your CD or DVD drive and click "OK".
Select a new keyboard layout, if necessary, and click "Next" twice. Enter your password, if your system is configured with one, and click "OK".
Click "Recovery and Utility". Choose either "Restoring the Factory Image (only C: drive)" or "Restoring the Factory Image (full hard drive recovery)" from the "Recovery" tab. Follow the on-screen instructions to restore factory settings.
